I had purchased this bench previously to use as a dressing bench outside my shower.it works well for that purpose and is easy to maintain. I purchased a second one when we needed to use a bench in the shower. It is wiped down after use to reduce mineral deposits from our hard water. It is very sturdy with regular use inside and outside the shower.Given the initial expense it may seem to be outside a budget however it is a good investment. It is easy to assemble and durable. it is made from sustainable forest practice management which is important when purchasing any wood product.
